Headed out at gentlemen's hours with Dave and Henry. A drift at a few of the usual marks produced nothing and showed nothing on the sounder. Headed off to another set of marks I have and which I'm sure will produce on the right day. Plenty on the sounder to provide encouragement but very few hits and nothing stuck.

Heading back and I was ahead of the other two so thought I'd have a cast. Cast out and hooked up in about 7m. Lasted about 3sec before it found the bottom.

And the oops? I'd brought a hose to wash down the gear at the ramp and promptly forgot it. Needless to say it wasn't there an hour later. At least it was on special
