How frustrating can it be? Was going to fish yesterday with a late start (had to play taxi parent) but there was thunder and wind about. A check of seabreeze revealed the southerly had come through early, about 4am. My chances of a fish before the change had been dashed. My experience of fishing after a change has been poor so no point perservering in crappy conditions. At least it gave me a chance to do my taxes and work out just how much I owe :(
Last night seabreeze was looking good for the morning so packed the car and early to bed. Up at 5am to flashes of lightning and rumbling thunder. Checked seabreeze to see 20+kt winds off the Eastern suburbs. Back to bed. Off to lunch with friends later so no other chance today.
Last hope is to do all my preparation for tomorrow's lunch today and go for an early paddle tomorrow. Of course, seabreeze is forecasting unfishable conditions but its been so wrong so far this weekend that its worth the hope
