The sambo shuffle

For something a little different, I chased salmon out of Little Manly yesterday afternoon. Paddled towards Quarantine Pt and found a few seagulls. There were small schools of salmon striking bait on the surface but they were fairly skittish - even the birds would put them down. Couldn't get them to take my plastics.

Eventually got one on the troll. Lost a couple more. Then snagged a sp so tied on a slug. This attracted more interest on the surface, but nothing stuck. Then they disappeared. Nothing. Trolled up to near North Head and back and did a few loops before heading in.

Will have to supplement with some frozen fish for Thai fish cakes tonight
