Catch up

Have had very little to report lately. Henry has been slaying the big kings while I've poodled around catching very little. Saw some striped tuna three weeks ago but couldn't interest them and tired myself chasing the speedy little buggers.

Got out to Spot A today with the usual crew. Overcast, abating seas and a current ripping through all spelled fish. And so thought a great white shark, which made its presence known to a charter boat, who let us know.

There's always next weekend

Re the white Dave. Trying to work out why these buggers show up on a regular basis at Longie. They had a similar encounter last weekend south of Perth....It was a good weekend for plump snapper? And the hobo’s saw a whaler in the morning.

The following was a quote from a WA paper...

"Water police have warned swimmers, surfers and kayakers that there was pink snapper spawning activity in the Cockburn Sound which could attract more sharks".
