Alone again today so joined the crowd. Another warm sunny day, which was much appreciated after yesterday. Scored a very small king on the troll out then settled into the usual drifting for snapper. A couple of boats anchored on my marks made it difficult. Had one plastic mauled by leatherjackets over the reef but otherwise no hits until I got a trevally that went 38m to the fork.
Had to be on the lookout late in the session as a waterski race ploughed past us then returned. Amazed that some of these guys came in so close to the anchored boats.
It seems someone has a direct line to the right place. He was heard to wish for another shark report to thin down numbers. When Henry and I got back to the beach we were regaled with stories of a 5m white hanging around the plastic navy. Let's see if it worked
