Impromptu video session

Another attempt at Spot D was planned with Kas today, but things didn't go to plan. We got ready and ported down to the waters edge. Waves were in the 2-3ft range. I called for us to go but Kas tried to get on too early and got sideways. I made it out and started to setup while keeping an eye on Kas. Could see him make several attempts but kept getting it sideways. In the end, the ski got away from him.

Thought I'd better go back in so packed up and head in as some clubbies in an IRB came over and dragged his ski to the beach. By this time Kas was knackered so the day's fishing aborted. Turns out he'd got his rudder jammed to one side in his first launch attempt, making it impossible for him to get straight through the waves. Next time Kas.

Was a good chance to get a bit of video so I gave Kas the camera while I did a quick out and in. While still fairly gentle surf, I think it shows how well balanced is the Evolution for the surf. Liking it more everytime I use it.

Nice Dave , very nicely done, i think Cardio likes the waves he certainly has good manners in the surf , looks like a lovely day and nice flat seas , pity about no fishing , but these things happen and it didnt look very fishy anyway
